We have an amazing item up for your consideration – a limited edition Montblanc Jules Verne fountain pen from the 2003 Writer’s Series. This particular pen is number 7543 out of 18500. This pen comes with the original boxes, Montblanc Literature, and International Service Certificate. This fountain pen is fitted with an 18K (.84mm) medium nib. This Montblanc Jules Verne Witer’s Series Fountain Pen has never seen ink and I would consider it in Mint condition. This exquisite fountain pen from Montblanc’s Limited Edition Writers Series is called the Jules Verne. It pays tribute to the famous writer’s captivating imagination, taking inspiration from his life and works. The barrel of the pen is crafted from a vivid blue lacquer and accented with platinum-plated fittings, featuring a guilloche pattern of evenly sized waves. Jules Verne’s signature is proudly displayed on the cap of the pen, while the rhodium-plated 18-carat gold nib showcases an intricate engraving of an antique diver’s helmet, reminiscent of his iconic novel “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea”. This particular Jules Verne model is part of a limited edition collection, numbered “7543/18500”. The cap and barrel are in perfect condition with no cracks, nicks, scratches, enameling loss, or repairs. The cap is always securing tightly to the barrel. The platinum-plated trim is perfect with no scratches or wear. The fountain pen measures 5 3/4″ capped and 6 5/8″ posted. The Jules Verne Fountain Pen comes with the original boxes and Montblanc literature you see in the image. This Montblanc fountain pen uses a piston-filling system. I have tested it with water and works as it was designed to. I have taken apart the piston to grease it and did not see any signs of ink. This pen has an 18-karat gold Rhodium plated nib that pays homage to the classic novel, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The nib features an engraving of an Antique Diver’s Helmet and is labeled with “4810, 18K/750, Montblanc, 2003”. With a point measurement of .84mm using digital calipers, or a Medium nib point. Jules Verne’s novels were a departure from the ordinary, venturing into uncharted territories of the imagination. He explored the ocean’s depths, the vastness of space, and even the center of the earth, introducing new modes of transportation like rockets, satellites, and submarines. His works broke free from the confines of traditional literature and established a new genre: Science Fiction. This special edition writing instrument pays homage to the author’s most famous novel, “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea”. The ocean’s blue expanse stretches around the pen, accented by a guilloche pattern that mimics the waves. The engravings on the nib feature an antique diver’s helmet, adding to the pen’s unique and exquisite design. Behold the exquisite Montblanc Jules Verne Fountain Pen, a fine writing instrument crafted in Germany.
