CLUSTER Sterling Silver Turquoise Petit Point Native BOLO Tie Old 925 Vintage A bolo like this doesn’t come around often. Spectacular in every way. All handmade, hand cut, and check out that center stone. Gorgeous unique webbing in that fine specimen. I’m not sure if this is Zuni or Navajo made, as it is unsigned, but whoever made it was someone who took great pride in their craft. Slide back looks to have been repaired at one point, with the top bar clearly soldered on. I’m going to date this at around 1950 given the back of the slide. It stays put on the cord and isn’t slipping down or falling – bottom bar is nice and snug (top bar could be modified for added stability. There is one crack in a bottom stone and another stone on the side is missing a small portion of its bezel. Tips are fabulous – nice and heavy and hand done grooves with tiny points. Heavy patina on this masterful piece – has not been polished. Leather cord is in fairly good shape – it’s vintage, but nice soft movement. Please see photos for more description.
