Serviced&Tested Meyer Optik Gorlitz Primoplan 58/1.9 M42 Red V Ver. 3 14 Blades Iris TRIVIA: famous German ‘soap bubble bokeh’ vintage manual focus prime lens originally produced for 35mm SLR film cameras with M42 screw mount (Praktica, Contax, Pentacon, Praktiflex). Last version of production, characteristic silver/alu chassis, prod. date around 1960. ITEM CONDITION: an item used previously (vintage item). Item professionally overhauled (cleansed, relubed, adjusted) by a paid technician. So the item is absolutely clean and runs buttery smooth now, 10 blades perfect without abrasion, runs buttery smooth. Precise pinpoint focusing is a real joy with the lens now after a complete relube. No further investments needed. Glass: there is a number of fain cleaning marks on the front element only visible when you lit thru the lens under the lamp or similar occassions. No foreseeable impact for photography. (Fig 11&12). Otherwise the lenses are in adequate condition free from haze, fungus, mold, coating loss and generally very clean.ACCESSORIES: two original lens caps, vintage protective silver lens filter.ADAPTATION: look for M42 to Sony E, GFX, FX, M4/3, EOS R… digital adapters here on eBay.
