Up for sale is a new open box Steadicam Aero 15 vest / arm with gimbal attachment kit. This kit was purchased for a client who lost funding for their production and had their project canceled. The kit was never used but the vest and arm were assembled to make it easier to store. This kit includes the necessary items to fly an electronic gimbal such as the Ronin-s, Zhiyun-Tech Crane 2 but may also adapt to fit other gimbals of similar size. Note: other collar kits are available for purchase from Tiffin for popular electronic gimbals. Check with the manufacture if you aren’t sure. Utilizing an electronic gimbal in addition to the Steadicam system creates even more stability (especially in the z-axis) and removes the weight from your arms. Alternatively, you can purchase or use an existing Steadicam camera sled with the Aero 15 vest to fly a camera the traditional Steadicam way. This kit has a range of MSRPs anywhere from $1200-$1800 depending on the configuration. I have priced this at a substantial reduction compared to the original purchase amount. The price is firm. From the manufacture: The Steadicam Steadimate-S Aero 15 Arm & Aero Vest Kit supports DJI Ronin-S and Zhiyun-Tech Crane 2 stabilizers with a payload of 10 lbs as a body-worn system that lets you integrate compatible handheld motorized gimbal stabilizers. The kit includes the Aero 15 stabilizer arm, an Aero vest, and the Steadimate-S mechanical gimbal collar and base for attaching the handheld stabilizer. The gimbal collar secures to the post of the handheld stabilizer, allowing the stabilizer to rest on the arm and vest for easier and steadier use. The Aero 15 with an electronic gimbal eliminates vertical bounce by providing z-axis stabilization, while the combined system takes all the weight off your hands and distributes it to your hips. The Steadimate-S allows you to easily perform smooth pans and more advanced movements such as pushing the camera all the way towards the ground and back up in Low Mode. The Aero vest has a padded design and is adjustable to the user’s height and size via chest and hip straps. Twelve balance weights are included that can be attached to the base as needed. The base features a pair of 15mm LWS rods that the weights can easily be attached to and removed from.
